Track 2:
This session we are going to still touch on gates a little bit but with more of a focus shifting to the track
15-20min skill focus work. I want you to warm up, but also push yourself trying new lines through the rhythm, new jumps, pull before jumps, whatever it is. Just don’t get stuck doing the same thing every time! Also make sure you work on warming up your acceleration. Hitting straights at full speed and getting the legs moving!
1x2 warm up gates to focus on form
1x4 full speed first straights to the end of the first turn
1x6 half laps doing these efforts on the track, ideally with a training partner. Example do 1x3 from turn 1 to the end of turn 3 and 1x3 from turn 2 to your finish line. You can pick but do these from the track rather then the starting gate. Keep your rest at 4-8min
