Sprints 1:

This months training is split into specific race work and strength work.  

 

Sprints 1 is your race specific work

 

Start Method: Medium roll in 

Terrain: Flat road 

Distance (always  half cranks): 18 cranks from start of sprint to finish

Reps: 1x8 reps

Equipment: race gear

Pedals: race specific

Goal:  mid straight acceleration and applying force through pedal with higher RPM

 

Start Method:  Box start

Terrain: Flat road 

Distance (always  half cranks): 18 cranks

Reps: 1x8

Equipment: race gear

Pedals: race specific 

Goal:  First straight acceleration
