Track 2:
This day we are focusing more on gaining overall track speed! Do a 15 min skill warm up, followed buy hitting a few straights full speed. You will be doing ½ laps on the track, so make sure you warm up on the straights you plan on using for your ½ laps!
Set 1: Turn 2- finish line. 1 set of 3. However you only get to pedal the first ½ of this effort. Don’t pedal through your next turn and final straight. Goal is to focus more on backside and being efficient around the track! 5-8min recovery depending on your needs
Set 2: Starting gate to the end of turn 2! This will be full race specific efforts. 1 set of 3-4 efforts. Put yourself in race mode, be efficient around the track and work hard on each jump! Race is 6-8min rest
Of course now it is time to race!!
