Track 2:

Today we continue to work on our longer efforts, track fitness, and putting ourselves in different race situations if you have the ability to train in a group.  This is ideally done before a race night with the plan of still racing at night.  Even if you are tired.  It is a fitness night set up for the greater goal of a week night local race win.  Know you will be fatigued but still try to push yourself and WIN!

 

Do a 20min skill and acceleration warm up.  Same as gate day try to start at different points in the turn, the end, middle and beginning.  Still do skill lines trying to jump new things maybe do different straightaways then on the gate day to mix it up.

 

Set 1:

I know this is a large ask but if you have the ability to do this with 1 cog larger in the rear.  If not just stick to race gear

1x2 half laps Turn 1 to the end of straight 3 (so a second and third straight)

1x1 ¾ laps.  Turn 1 to the finish line

 

Set 2:

Race gear

1x1 half laps from the gate to the end of turn 2

1x1 ¾ laps from the gate to the end of the 3rd straight
